The Adventures of FSM!

Yeah, Fin, Shouheng and Me (FSM) had an adventure today...well, sort of. Miss Toh and Miss Ong had recommend the class to go to this 'Career 2008 & Education 2008' exhibition at Suntec. We kinda felt what they said made sense so we decided to go. After some online searching by Shouheng this morning, we found out that the exhibition ends tomorrow, so Fin, Shouheng, 96 and me planned to go this evening. It was decided that Fin, Shouheng and me would go earlier, with 96 joining us later at 7 pm after his Mother Tongue lessons. However, 96 didn't join us in the end coz it was his cousin's birthday today and he had to celebrate it.

FSM met up at City Hall MRT Station and together we went on our way to the exhibition hall in Suntec. On our way, we passed by HMV and decided to go in and take a look. Fin suggested to give 96 something he saw in the store as a birthday present (96's birthday is on the 15th of March) and well, we may just buy it for him. I'm not gonna say what it is though, its gonna be a secret till 96's birthday. Just know that its related to music. ;) Saw many interesting CDs in HMV and we practically took an hour just going through the same set of shelves over and over again. We could have spent even more time there, if not for Shouheng who was bored and obviously didn't appreciate 'Music Window Shopping' as much as Fin and me. Another thing that made us decide to get out was the irritating security guard who kept following us around. Maybe we looked likes thieves to him. Or...he found out that Fin had caused a whole set of CDs to crash to the floor. Either way, it made us, or rather Shouheng, feel like criminals and so we left.

We eventually made it to the exhibition hall. However, we didn't spend much time in it. Fin and Shouheng felt rather uncomfortable in it; the hall was crowded by adults in smart wear and no seconday students were to be seen. I didn't feel bothered at all but...one for all and all for one, I decided to leave with them. And in the end, we had no 'souvenir' to show for our visit to the exhibition except for a sticker that was used to allow entry into the exhibition hall. There it is below on my shirt! :P

We went pass an eerily looking exhibition door on our way down the escalators and decided to take a look. I personally felt like I was in a scene of a horror movie like Scream 3 and a guy, dressed in black with a mask on, would be hiding behind the door with a scythe, waiting for us to enter his trap. But obviously, I was thinking too much again. :P

The door doesn't look eerie from the picture but I swear, you would be scared if you were there. Well, I was...till Fin walked into the hall and said, "Imagine playing football here...damn shiok sia!"

We then went to Burger King for dinner. Fin was rather sad (Better not to say why; Don't think he wanna share something so confidential to the whole world...) so we accompanied him on a walk.

We eventually made our way to Toys 'R' Us and Shouheng and me tried to console Fin through playing. Unexpectantly, you can still have lots of fun at Toys 'R' Us even though you aren't a kid anymore.

Like the extremely short video shown above, anyone can have fun at Toys 'R' Us. :D At least, we did. We even helped promote Domino in the store! A few parents passing by saw us playing with the Domino tiles and stopped for a closer look at what we were doing. Some even decided to buy after seeing how much fun we were having! Toys 'R' Us should pay us some money for promoting their toys! :S

Bet'cha dunno what all these toys are if you were just passing by. But because of us, these toys attracted the attention of a few parents! Anyways, Shouheng and me were having fun with the toy in the video when Fin spotted a toy that we could use as a birthday gift to 96.

Ta-dah! Yes, 96, a toy Flight Simulator! Bet you will enjoy this! :S

Heres Fin saying,"Silence! I kill you!" on a toy voice distortor.

Heres when Fin and Shougheng decided to race on 2 separate racing toy (the one in the video above)

This is only here coz it sounded weird.

Love Toys 'R' Us now. Toys for the win! :)

Till Next Time
