thy Flickr away!

photos photos photos galore
photos photos theres so much more
just click the following and take a seat
it is by the one, the only, yours truly, TIGBIT!

yep its the TigBit's very own Flickr account. the guy has one hell of a taste for photographs. see everything from snake gore to colourful plastic bears to plain randomness (i mean, whats 968778 without complete randomness?)!

heres the URL again:

plus we got the Song of the Day:

today i chose a little hip-hop. cause we all gotta have a little feel-good music once in a while. Kanye West have been acing in this line of music time and time again, and this is one good example of why his brand of hip-hop is so unique; different sounds, a positive theme, and most importantly, i can have nothing to do with bangin' ho's or blastin' them n*ggas'. food for thought. O_o

anyway for the next post im gonna get the ever-elusive 96 to write!

Songs of the Week:

Born for This by Paramore

this song has been stuck in my head throughout the whole week. and usually when its stuck in your head, you just want it to stop. not this song. you just want it to keep playing over and over again. whats so catchy is probably the second-voicing done on it by the guitarist Josh Farro; its weird but at the same time catchy, kinda like Nine in the Afternoon by Panic At The Disco(speaking of, get the review of their new album Pretty.Odd at tigbit.blogspot.com).

Bang the Doldrums by Fall Out Boy

at first glimpse (or in this case, listen), FOB seems like a band that cant make up on the type of songs they like to play. a bad thing? a great thing. this has made them anything and everything from hip-hop collaborations to covers of the king of pop himself (Michael Jackson, that is). however this has also made them produce very colourful songs. and Bang the Doldrums is one good example. the theme of the song may seem confusing at first but its one of those things that you will easily learn to love.

until next time,
love music

the REVAMP

in conjunction with 78's INDEFINITE LEAVE, i have decided on a complete REVAMP of 968778 PRODUCTIONS!

HERE ARE OUR PLANS:
  1. A completely re-designed blog page by the end of April. This one would be more attractive and would cater to all age groups.
  2. A move to a subdomain (e.g. geocities) to increase exposure to the public eye.
  3. A blogshop selling 968778 merchandise and other goodies up by May. This is to fund our ever-growing projects.
  4. And of course, more viewable content for our fans, 'cause thats what we are all about!

More about this soon. so stay tuned!

FROM THE DESKS OF THE BOARD

he lives on in our hearts... and our blog posts

the first thing that came to mind when i heard 78 was quitting was "Why?" (wait actually i think it was more like "haha 78 tryna be funny. wait a minute... his jokes usually arent this lame..." because i didnt think he was being serious..)

he was one of a kind
he was in everyones mind

he was one that wouldnt fit
he was the one and only TigBit

we decorated his shoe
we sang together to Dark Blue
we had so so much fun and
we didnt think of the inevitable end

yup his minds made up
now play that golden harp
as we celebrate his time here
and as we shed our beloved 78 a tear

i can write so much poetry
about how he made life seem carefree
and how he put us in the spotlight
so this is the final goodbye, goodnight

goodbye 78

as usual, signing off with much love

So Long Goodbye...

Time passes quickly when you're having fun. But eventually, all good things have to come to an end. I had fun for the past 3 months or so, but I've decided its time to let go of this...all this. Its not that I have any conflicts with anyone in the crew but... its just time to move on.

I know that the other crew members would still be able to do a good job and possibly a BETTER job than when I'm around. But...heres good luck anyways! ;) I'll be looking forward to Vijay: The Series! Don't disappoint me guys! :)

From the birth of the board members to the inclusion of 77, 75 and 73 and to the filming of Vijay: The Series, I have watched this group of brothers grow and bond and I have to say I'm proud of the Production Crew. (I know...I'm being emotional... ;P) Even though my journey with you guys end here, I hope this Crew will stay together for years to come.

Heres a song to 'celebrate' my 'resignation' (I suppose...):

Saying My Last Goodbye...

p.s. Guys, please don't try to persuade me about my quitting the Productions. My mind is already made up and I hope you will respect my decision...

YO YO YO?
hows everybody?sorry i've not been posting for a long time......... very busy...lots of homework to do, tests to study for..... well actually i don't study....lol....Saturday was fun, and the first time i've been to a lan shop..... By the Way anyone know when and how i became the Marketing guy?
Seriuosly Confused of my role here,

Twenty-One to Zero.

Vijay is still sore from losing to me 21-0 at Counterstrike: Source; He still remembers today about losing to me. I didn't even make fun of him though! :P Well...maybe just a tiny bit of laughing at him...Anyways, he challenged me to a rematch at Counterstrike 1.6 and we'll probably be playing on this saturday's 4E4 LAN gathering. This time Vijay...don't give lame excuses like you've just started or that you didn't know how to shoot! :S Even though I didn't make TOO much fun at Vijay, my dearly beloved classmates (<3 ya guys! :D) was delighted at Vijay's adventures in Counterstrike virtual world! When Ms Ong suggested to us to lock up our computer rooms till after 'O' Levels and buy 3 computers to catch up on 'lost' time after the exams, our dear sarcastic 96 had to say," Ah, Vijay!!! Buy 3 computers ah! 1 for learning to buy gun, 1 for learning to throw grenade and 1 for learning to defuse the c4!"

What a mean guy! ;P Vijay had to suffer such comments for the past 2 days after spilling the beans about his 0-21 loss to me! ;S

I was extremely tired today so I collapsed on my brother's bed and fell asleep. When I woke up, I checked my handphone and to my shock, it was 6.40! I panicked for a moment, thinking I was gonna be late for school. Suddenly, I realised it was 6.40 p.m. and not 6.40 a.m. It was only then that I started to relax. But it was only then that I discovered that 6.40 p.m. is about as dark as 6.4o a.m.; See the small things you discover when you pay close attention?! ;)

Well, today is the 25th of March! Panic! At The Disco's new album 'Pretty.Odd' is out now! Head to the stores now to have a musically 'odd' ball of a time! :P
Talk to You Later (TTYL)

CIP? Community Involvement Programme?

Righty...as the title suggested, this post is about our Community Involvement Programme (CIP, for short) this afternoon. We were to be 'begging' for money to help the needy for 4 hours, from 1p.m-5p.m. Around 2a.m this morning (oh...I mean yesterday morning...its past midnight already...), I was awoken by a SMS sent by 96 (FISH YOU, 96!) asking when shall we meet up before heading to Plaza Singapura together (Plaza Singapura was where we were to collect our 'tins'). I replied 12p.m.

Then I had tuition yesterday morning at 11p.m (I was only going for an hour; I have to make up for the other hour next week -____-) and I received a SMS at 11.57a.m from 96 asking where I was. For the first time ever, I swear..., he didn't reach there late! Shocking man, 96! :P Anyways, to my utter horror, there were others, besides 96, waiting for me: Damian, Sanjay, Vijay and Gabriel. So I felt kinda embarrassed and apologetic when I found out from 96 that they were waiting FOR ME AND ONLY ME!, on the phone later when I was onboard the bus that was heading for the Serangoon MRT station. Sorry again, guys! xD

To our astonishment when we reached Plaza Singapura (PS, for short...getting sick of typing Plaza Singapura...), there were 7 schools...SEVEN SCHOOLS there! Damn?! How were we gonna get donations...? (Ok...I know that when theres a will, theres a way but still...) In the end, we were conned by 96 (AGAIN YOU, 96! :S). He told us that after 3p.m was the time when PS were most crowded with couples (to think about it now...what has couples got to do with donations?...-.-) so we followed him to the nearest and cheapest LAN shop and played around an hour there. On the way there, we got separated and the Khatau brothers and me were left with Vijay to guide us to the LAN shop (for a person who have never gone to that LAN shop, he sure knows his directions...).

Me: Eh...?! So Vijay you know how to go there?
Vijay: ...Yeah! First, we go thru' the President's house. Then we reach one hotel...
Me: Go THROUGH the President's house?!
One of the Khatau Brothers: Vijay...you can't go THROUGH the President's house...
Vijay: Ok...Ok! Sorry! My english not very powerful...

This was the conversation we had when we got separated from 96, Ricardo and Sanjay and Sean. I swear...sometimes...I really wonder if Vijay means what he says. Imagine Vijay bringing us through the President's house. Oh my god. He would have led us to our deaths...

So in the end, Vijay became our tour guide.

Vijay: ...And heres the President's house! This is where you can find me...in 5 years time!
Haren Khatau: As the guard la!
Vijay: No~! As the president, of course!
Me: Right...then I would be...Spongebob Squarepants...
Vijay: ...
Vijay: *seeing the guards in white* Really stupid you know them! You see they stand like statue liddat! If a sniper comes ah...BOOM! BOOM! Both die! So easy...They should hold the gun like in Counterstrike la! When enemy come...they just shoot, no need life up the gun!
Me: For someone who have never played Counterstrike, you talk like you have played it for years...
Vijay: ...

A particularly 'memorable' conversation we had while walking past the President's house.

We eventually made it to the LAN shop and I had to lent my beloved jacket to Vijay (he didn't bring his home clothes). I knew then that I would have to wash it immediately after I reached home...after my past experiences with him at the sec 3 camp. The jacket may still stink for days after washing it... :S Just kidding...c'mon Vijay...everyone loves Vijay! :D

Bwahaha! And those imbeciles thought they would win again me...in the end, I pwned everyone in Counterstrike! :S Nah...I did alright (Surprisingly...I played better at LAN than at home...for Counterstike 1.6 at least). But if Kenrick was there...all of us could be screwed. I reckon even if all 9 of us were to team up against him, we would still lose. (Kenrick, if you're reading this...this doesn't mean you can be proud...! -.-) And that particular dumb imbecile Vijay dared to challenged me at my forte: Counterstrike: Source! Bwahaha! I showed him! 21-0 one-on-one win! Bwahah! But it was kinda funny; throughout the 1.6 gaming, Vijay was shouting,"Oi! Oi! How to buy gun!"

After the LAN session, we took our sweet time walking back to PS (actually it was 96, Sanjay and Ricardo taking their sweet time; Vijay felt guity he hadn't collected anything yet.) 96, Sanjay and Ricardo headed for McDonalds to grab a bite while I followed Vijay, collecting donations. I followed Vijay all the way to the taxi stand at the back of PS where Vijay asked everyone in the quene for donations. No one, I mean NO ONE, donated. After seeing Vijay getting rejected, I too lost faith in myself and I decided to keep my mouth shut and just stand there with the tin held in front of me. After standing there for 10 mins or so, Vijay and I gave up and decided to meet up with 96, Sanjay and Ricardo again.

We walked around and soon, it was 4.30. We decided to return the tin early and go home, feeling tired and all.

Below are a few photos I took yesterday. Hope you enjoy them!

My Music of The Week!

Dark Blue by Jack's Mannequin, Beat It by Fall Out Boy and Bubbly by Colbie Caillat. These 3 songs have been stuck in my head for the past week or so. Firstly, Dark Blue. Fin introduced my to Jack's Mannequin (thanks Mate!). At first, I thought it was just some crappy band, but after listening to Dark Blue on the bus back from sec 3 camp, I got addicted to them, epecially Holiday From Real and Dark Blue (love this 2 tracks! :D). I love Fall Out Boy's cover of Michael Jackson's Beat It. It features John Mayer on guitar (Heard the guitar solo on the later part of the song? Thats him. ;D). I'm not sure if the version above has his guitar solo though; The one above is a live edition. If you wanna hear the studio (I guess thats the word for non-live edition...) version, just visit Fall Out Boy's website. Lastly, Bubbly by Colbie Caillat. I first heard this song on TV and after that, I got hooked by the song. Its a great track to listen to when you're on the bus, on the way home. Heard shes coming to Singapore...hmm...anyways, hopefully you'll enjoy the 3 tracks above as much as I did. C'ya...on my next post! :P
C'ya!
